Citymax to bring more global brands to India and bringing total number of outlets to 80

Citymax Hotels (India) Pvt Ltd, hospitality division of the Dubai-based Landmark Group, plans to bring in more international premium food brands to India. Landmark Group, which owns Lifestyle and Max chain of retail stores here, operates casual dining restaurants (Polynation), cafe outlets (Gloria Jean’s Coffees) and entertainment centres (Fun City) in the country through Citymax. The company currently has 10 Krispy Kreme outlets in Bangalore. Citymax is the master franchisee for the Krispy Kreme brand owned by Krispy Kreme Doughnuts Corporation of the US for South and West India. “In the next five years we want to take the total number of outlets to 80 with an investment of Rs. 70-80 crore. They plan to enter Mumbai by the end of this year, besides adding another five stores in Chennai. This strategic expansion move of Citymax will be an added business advantage for signage players dealing in-shop branding, fabrication and other related tasks.
