French retail giant announces its wholesale cash-and-carry business in India within next 2-3 months with the opening of its first store in Delhi. The company, which has been scouting for partners in India is still exploring options, including the franchise route for further growth in India. The first cash-and-carry outlet will be opened in Seelampur in Delhi, covering an area of 55,000 sq ft and will have over 30,000 SKUs or products varieties. This is indeed a breaking news for in-store media companies as well as sign-makers and print providers to mint a new business out of the new stores.
