Offering large-formats players new quality printing at a competitive price point, Canon announced the launch of imagePROGRAF iPF670E, a new five-color dye/pigment printer. The 24-inch iPF670E model stems from the iPF670 series, with compelling features and specifications to satisfy a broad range of business needs, including the printing of CAD/GIS documents, posters, graphics, and larger sized business documents. Designed to compete in the low-cost, low-volume 24 inch market, Canon’s imagePROGRAF iPF670E offers speeds approximately 20 percent faster than that of the competition.
Designed to increase accessibility for entry-level operations, the 24-inch iPF670E comes equipped with a total of 540 ml of ink differentiating it from competitors that offer less than 100 ml of ink to start with for similar devices. With an increased amount of ink, Canon has helped provide the tools necessary for those businesses entering the large-format market to get their operation up and running. The new iPF670E employs a 5-color dye and pigment ink system with C, M, Y, BK, and MBK. The imagePROGRAF iPF670E offers a competitive advantage of utilizing two types of black ink: MBK for a dense black tone on plain paper and BK for glossy media to enable high image quality for poster printing.
