Cafe Coffee Day (CCD) plans to double its capacity in terms of outlets and personnel, over the next 24 months. The coffee chain conglomerate, which has 1,075 outlets, will increase the number of centres by another 50, by end of March 2011, taking the total number to 1,125 across India. Each outlet will require an investment of Rs 35 lakh to Rs 50 lakh. Such new step of this coffee major is a new opportunity for the signage players such as PSP, fabricators and others associated with in-shop companies.
