Café Coffee Day plans for adding 2500 new outlets

Expanding 50 percent of its network, Cafe Coffee Day (CCD) aims at adding around 2,500 stores in the next eight years. The coffee chain is planning to add around 100 stores every year focusing on the metro cities. Besides that the company also looks at tapping the opportunities coming out from the tier II and tier III cities. The company, which opened its first store in 1996 in Bengaluru, is currently operating 1,740 CCD stores in around 250 cities. The coffee chain’s store expansion plan will bring a new business opportunity for the signage companies engaging in in-store branding and graphic projects.
