Food chain Burger King has entered Chennai with the launch of its first outlet in the city. The company’s 34th outlet in the country will from November 28. This will be the first of the three stores to be opened in the city. Keen on strengthening the existing markets, Burger King has plans to open 16 more new stores by the year end before exploring other new avenues. The US fast food chain entered India November last year as a JV with Everstone Capital and so far has 34 company-operated outlets across the country. Signage companies must get ready to tap such big business opportunity for in-shop branding and designing projects in the retail domain.
