Brooks Brothers, one of the world’s oldest premium men’s clothier chains, has outfitted 39 out of the 44 American presidents, including Barack Obama. And given a chance, its chairman & CEO Claudio Del Vecchio remarked he would be happy to suit up Indian PM Narendra Modi as well. Talking to CNBC-TV18, he mentioned about Brooks Brothers’ expansion plans in India and growing focus on its online presence. The brand came to India in 2012 through a joint venture with Reliance Brands and now planning to have probably about 20 stores within the next three years. Those signage majors engaging in in-shop branding, designs, displays and related tasks could able tap fresh business with the outlet expansion of such high-end multinational stores.
