BMW India has recently opened two new outlets at Lucknow and Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh to mark its entry in the state. While the Lucknow dealership is spread over 24,000 sq ft, the Kanpur showroom spans 2,800 sq ft. With these fresh footprints, BMW now has 27 sales outlets in India. In recent times, all the three leading luxury car brands namely Mercedes, Audi and BMW have launched their outlets either in Lucknow and Kanpur, signifying the expansion of the market in emerging metros. Constant expansion in the retail domain with the launch of such high-end MNC outlets would bring new business opportunity for the signage companies dealing in in-store/in-shop/showroom displays, branding, etc.
