Bath and Body Works has expanded its retail presence in India with the opening of its 47th store in the country, located at Phoenix Marketcity Mall in Chennai. The update was shared by Apparel Group India, which manages the brand’s India operations, through a social media announcement. In a post, Apparel Group India said, “With this new store, we aim to bring the classic Bath and Body works fragrances, body care essentials and an elevated shopping experience to our customers in Chennai,” while sharing images from the launch. The American personal care brand entered the Indian market in 2018 through an exclusive partnership with Apparel Group India. Such vivacity in the retail landscape of India is a new business opportunity which sign makers can tap for turnkey in-store branding and graphic projects.
