Luxury car maker Audi plans to expand its footprint in India by adding more showrooms and ‘touch points’ in non-metro places. According to a source from the company, Audi is planning for more showrooms and ‘touch points; to its network of 42 showrooms, at present, in the country. It also mentions that the company has ‘identified the locations’. Audi currently has 90 touch points across the country, but the company would like to expand the count, which will be around 15 percent. Opening of the new high-end showrooms in the country will be an added business opportunity for the signage companies whose activities revolve around in-shop designs, displays and such tasks.
