Consumer notebook vendor ASUS announces the launch of its first exclusive store in Chandigarh as part of its strategy to strengthen its presence in north India. Having being recognised as one of the top 50 global cities, Chandigarh was an essential choice to mark the company’s presence. Currently, the company has five exclusive stores in Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh. Now, the plan of expansion is that ASUS eyes for more exclusive stores, shop-in-shop and multi-brand stores (around 14 stores) to be unveiled in the next two quarters in these states. Out of the total, seven will be in Punjab, six in Haryana and one in Himachal Pradesh. PSPs, sign makers and others engaging in in-shop displays, designs and related activities will find new business through such constant opening of the new stores in the sector.
