Asus India will be adding about 1000 retail points in 2021. The Taiwanese tech company, which had 7.5 percent share in the Indian PC segment in the September quarter (as per IDC ), currently has its products available at over 6000 retail points which include over 1100 such POS as well as 5000 traditional dealer shops. Post lifting of lockdown, the demand continues to be strong, said a source from the company, mentioning their expectation is about selling 2.5 lakh units a month. Asus India’s retail expansion plan is an added business opportunity for the signage companies whose activities involve in in-store branding, graphic and such related tasks.
