Arrow Digital has recently expanded product portfolio of its demo centre in Ahmedabad with the addition of a new Fotoba XLD-170 WP XY cutter, which is versatile high speed digitally printed wall paper cutter in its class. Designed to work with both rolls and sheets, the cutter is designed to be a perfect solution to trim all flexible media output up to 67 inch wide and 35 mm thick, such as polycarbonate, photo paper, vinyl, self-adhesive vinyl, PVC, film, duratrans, TDF, canvas, thick coated fabrics, PU leather, laminated or encapsulated prints and much more.
Fotoba XLD-170 WP cutter is designed for the industrial production of sheets, which require a perfect vertical cut. Wallpaper and panel segment motifs, which are highly sensitive to precise application of the individual segments. The machine automatically cuts both longitudinally and transversally per marks. It cuts longitudinally in the middle of the sheets as well. It cuts a 150 ft roll in 15 minutes. Regardless of any feed misalignment, Fotoba XLD-170 WP automatically realigns itself to the edge of the printed image. The XLD-170 will always produce square finished images even if the printer fails to print parallel to the media edge or if the printer fails to wind up the rolls squarely (telescoping). Fotoba XLD-170 WP uses the FOTOBA cut marks that are standard in all popular RIP software.
