Aircel plans to invest Rs 700 cr in Gujarat

With the launch of its GSM services in Gujarat, Aircel announces that the company will be investing Rs 700 crore in the circle by 2013. Of these, the telecom operator has already invested about Rs 300 crore and plans to infuse another Rs400 crore in the next 2-3 years. The also launched PocketApps Store for the first time in the country in association with Infosys. Through Aircel PocketApps Stores, the company will offer consumers in Gujarat and other circles several applications with both universal and circle wise touch. This is doubtless that the company will bring a sunshine opportunity to the signage players such as PSPs, fabricators and others clutching in the telecommunication sector.
