The board of directors of International Sign Association (ISA) has voted to cancel the ISA International Sign Expo 2020 that had already been re-scheduled from April to August due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. When ISA made the decision to postpone the scheduled event (April 2-4), the organizers did so at a time when information was
changing rapidly. A statement from ISA stated that the impact of ‘flattening the curve’ would result in a return to normalcy and safety much more quickly than it has. This was not an easy decision, but the ISA Board has chosen to cancel the event due to COVID-19. ISA knows that many stakeholders are involved in making ISA International Sign Expo a ‘must-attend’ event each year, but they want to thank everyone for their time and support. According to a source from ISA, it has been stated that while the organizers wouldn’t be able to gather as a community in 2020, they are jumping right in to focus on ISA International Sign Expo 2021 in Las Vegas, NV.
