Aditya Birla group is betting big on Bangalore and is planning to increase the presence of its ‘More’ outlets across the city. More already has two hypermarkets in Bangalore — Mahadevapura and Old Madras Road. Bangalore has been a good market for us. All ‘More’ stores are doing extremely well. In June, the company is setting up a small-format hypermarket in Jayanangar, and in October, they are opening a similar outlet in Marathahalli. By the end of this fiscal, the city will have six more hypermarkets. The more the company increases its More store, the more the region’s signage players engaging in in-shop/in-store displays, designs, branding will get more business opportunities.
