Italian jewellery brand Damiani has approached the government for permission to enter the country’s single-brand retail sector. Damiani India has filed an application in this regard with the Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB) in the Finance Ministry. Damiani India is seeking permission for single-brand retail business in collaboration with Damiani International B.B, Italy. In the recent past, Damiani opened its first outlet in New Delhi. The new move in the retail front with such big boom in the sector with the arrival of big MNCs would bring in fresh opportunity in the business of signage players engaging into in-shop displays and related activities.
