Chennai-based Poorvika Mobiles is planning to open 50 stores this fiscal, at an investment of around Rs 20-30 crore. The company also said that it is looking to diversify, for which it may look to raise money from private equity (PE) funds.The company is aiming to become a global company and wants to take the brand beyond retailing. The company’s plan to add the new 50 during the present fiscal will make a total figure of 134. Also, the expansion move of the company will give signage companies, dealing in in-store displays, designs, fabrication and bra branding, a new boost in business.
