Oce launches new ColorWave 550

Océ, a division of the Canon Group, announces the launch of its new Océ ColorWave 550. The new printer is the latest in the successful range of ColorWave’s that run on CrystalPoint technology. Instead of ink or toner, the CrystalPoint technology uses TonerPearls (wax balls) that are heated before being printed, so that the resulting liquid is used to create image. These printers are widely used in the office and sign industry to produce eco-friendly prints.

The Océ ColorWave 550 printing system with the unique Océ CrystalPoint technology enables technical users to print black & white and colour documents on plain paper prints – all on the same system. They can also print outstanding colour presentations on plain paper, recycled paper, banners or other specialties. Prints come out dry, cut to size and ready to use indoors and on construction sites. They have a unique silk-shine look and feel that radiates quality.
