In a phenomenal move to bring itself closer to car-buyers, Ford India has inaugurated 45 sales and service outlets in one day across 35 locations. The new outlets, built according to Ford’s Brand @ Retail global standards, has taken the company’s total dealer network to 230 outlets in 123 cities. Ford has placed 40 percent of its outlets in Tier I and Tier II cities, considering the growing demand in these zones. Of the 45 outlets opened, 20 are 3S (Showroom, Sales and Service) facilities, 11 are sales outlets and 14 service workshops. Following the swift expansion of the company’s outlets, signage players in the retail sector have the reason of rejoice to tap new business through the newly opened Ford India outlets.
