Croma aims at small stores for expansion

Croma, a chain of stores selling consumer durables and electronics from various brands, plans to open smaller stores, including counters in mall aisles and kiosks inside larger shops, as finding space in new malls gets difficult. The company has limited real estate options in terms of new malls coming up. So, if they need to increase footprint, they can’t just do stand-alone stores, but need to go to existing malls and look at shop-in-shop. This new direction of Croma’s expansion will definitely be an added opportunity to the existing business of signage companies such as fabricators, POP signs, in-shop branding, etc in the sector.
