Dan Cake, Portugal is one of the leading names in the world of bakery and confectionary industry and one of the largest butter cookies producers worldwide. The company is all set to enter the Indian market through a joint venture with Pune-based Phadnis Group. An agreement to this effect has been signed between Dan Cake and Phadnis Industries Limited, a Phadnis Group Company. Danesita Phadnis Food Industries Limited will be a 66:34 joint venture. Advantage of such a robust development surging in the food and beverage segment will be for the signage players too – particularly those dealing with in-shop signage and displays.
