Directional signages at all interchange stations of Delhi Metro

In order to sort out confusion of commuters, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) plans to install directional signages at all interchange stations soon. The signages should be on the line of what its carried out at Tokyo Metro, which help passengers identify platforms, destination stations, lines they opt to travel in, etc. The signages, which will be in both English and Hindi, will be mounted on the floors near the automatic fare collection gates. DMRC has already installed some directional signages at Central Secretariat Metro station.

DMRC plans to put up the signages at interchange stations like Rajiv Chowk–interchange station for Line 2 and Line 3; Kashemere Gate Station– Line 1 and Line 2; Inderlok interchange station–Line 1 and Line 5; Yamuna Bank interchange station–Line 3 and Line 4. The signages being designed in a passenger-friendly layout would bring confusions of the commuters to an end.
