Vastex International, a leading manufacturer of equipment and accessories for DTG printers, DTF printers and screen printers, has introduced a 120-volt/1,950-watt version of its 18 in. (46 cm) square RedFlash Infrared Flash Cure Unit, complementing its existing 240-volt/2,600-watt model of the same size. “With the new 120-volt RedFlash, customers lacking a 240-volt receptacle need not forgo high-performance flash curing of screen-printed garments,” mentioned Mark Vasilantone, President, Vastex. The RD-18-120 features a low-profile head (2.75 inch/7 cm), digital temperature control for precise, repeatable settings, an integrated cooling fan, and a heavy-duty floor stand. An optional AutoFlash upgrade can connect directly to the unit and adds HMI controls that rotate the head into place above the pallet at the touch of a foot pedal, then rotate it away automatically after a user-adjustable dwell time — preventing over- and under-flashing of garments.
Also available is a Rotary Pallet Adapter with two vented steel pallets, enabling drying as well as flash curing. All RedFlash Infrared Flash Cure Units carry a 5-year heater warranty and come standard with a head leveler for parallel alignment to the pallet, extra-large side handles, heat controls with power indicator lights, and a vertical adjustment collar allowing 360° rotation. Vastex also offers flash cure units in sizes up to 18 x 24 inch (46 x 61 cm) with heaters up to 3,500 watts at 240V, along with infrared conveyor dryers for DTF, DTG, and screen printing; screen printing presses in one to 10 colors and one to 10 stations; screen exposing units; screen drying cabinets; screen registration systems; and complete screen printing shop systems. The company also offers a full range of training classes for entry-level, intermediate, and advanced screen printers.
