Kongsberg and MultiCam is all set to showcase how connected production workflows enhance precision, productivity, and scalability across print, display, packaging and signage applications at PRINTING United, which is scheduled to take place from September 23 – 25 at Las Vegas Convention Center, Nevada. At the company’s Booth C300, visitors can explore advanced digital cutting and CNC routing solutions that help customers adapt, grow and remain competitive in fast changing market conditions, including: The Kongsberg Ultimate equipped with the Roll Feeder; The Kongsberg C-Series with the Smart Material Handler (SMH); and New MultiCam offering.
The Kongsberg Ultimate equipped with the Roll Feeder is an award-winning, highly productive digital cutting table for corrugated and display production, engineered for continuous, high-speed operations. Its modular design enables businesses to scale and adapt as their needs evolve, while delivering consistent, high-quality production results. The Roll Feeder, which isdesigned to deliver highly accurate, continuous production for wide-format soft signage applications, will run alongside the Kongsberg Ultimate. The system feeds material to eliminate wrinkles, stretching, and registration errors, ensuring precise cut quality from the first meter to the last, helping converters increase throughput, reduce waste and minimize costly reprints in demanding digital finishing environments.
The Kongsberg C-Series with the Smart Material Handler (SMH) provides speed and versatility for a broad range of signage, display, and protective packaging applications. The digital cutter offers the raw strength required to process even the most rugged materials at high-production speeds without impacting the finishing quality. The Kongsberg C will be showcased alongside the Smart Material Handler, a modular, sheet handling semi-automated solution. Designed to enhance productivity, the SMH enables operators to load new materials while the cutter is still processing the previous sheet, acting as a buffer zone and allowing one operator to handle tasks that typically require two, cutting labor needs by 50 percent.
As new MultiCam offering at the show, MultiCam will showcase its next-generation routing platform designed to support production flexibility, scalability, and future business growth. Further details will be available at the launch of the product, taking place during the show. Kongsberg and MultiCam’s show presence will this year be focused around ‘productivity’ that keeps you ahead of the game’. Visitors will see live demonstrations of the cutting and routing tables showcasing their speed, precision and versatility across a range of applications produced on both rigid and flexible materials.
