Metamark self-adhesive and overlaminate chosen restaurant mural

A mural was produced as a large-format environmental graphic installation using composite panels wrapped with Metamark MD5 and its matched MetaGuard 700 overlaminate. Signs and Labels Hereford delivered the large-format mural installation for Beefy Boys in South Africa that has transformed part of the restaurant’s exterior into a permanent brand feature. It celebrates the business’s tenth anniversary and reinforces the visual identity behind the growing UK hospitality brand. Having worked with Beefy Boys since its first restaurant opened, the project team at Signs and Labels Hereford was tasked with delivering a permanent installation that reflected the brand’s expansion from a single location over the past decade.

The prescribed artwork needed to align accurately across a large architectural surface incorporating alcoves and structural detailing, leaving no margin for installation error. Achieving a clean finish also required careful consideration of glare, durability and how the graphics would integrate naturally into a busy restaurant environment. A detailed site survey played a critical role. The supplied artwork was edited to ensure the print aligned correctly around recesses and alcoves where the graphics were cut precisely into the structure. The installation was designed as a permanent fixture of the restaurant, with the material selection focused on achieving a consistent finish and reliable performance.
