Sweden-based luxury bed manufacturer Hastens forayed into the Gujarat market by opening its showroom in Ahmedabad. This is the third Hastens store in India and first in Gujarat. The company plans to have 10-12 stores in various cities of the country. Along with the newly-launched showroom in Ahmedabad, the company has one store each in Hyderabad and Mumbai. The company intends to increase the number to 10-12 by the end of the 2012. The luxury stores will offer a new business opportunity for in-store media companies, PSPs, fabricators and others in the signage segment.
