High-end French baker and sweet maker Laduree is making its India debut and plans to open its first outlet in New Delhi next year. The first outlet will be unveiled in March-April as the company is in negotiations with some malls. First store will come in Delhi and then the company will move to Mumbai and rest of India. Started as a Parisian tea room in 1862 by Louis Ernest Ladurée and he opened a baker on 16th Avenue Royale in Paris today has about 40 restaurants and tea rooms and 107 stores in 21 countries including the US, the UK, Japan, UAE, Canada among others. Now, the foray of the high-end international baker in India will bring a new business opportunity for the signage companies dealing in-store branding and graphic applications.
