Pizza chain Pizza Hut India, owned by Yum Brands in the country, is planning to double its outlets to over 700 in the next two years, based on the growing popularity of western fast-food in the country. In the long-term, India is one of the company’s most important markets. In the medium term, the company plans to double the number of outlets. Pizza Hut India currently has 360 restaurants across 100 cities in the country, which Yum Brands is planning to double to over 700 in the next two years, that is by 2022. This expansion move of the company is a new business opportunity for the signage companies whose expertise involves in in-store branding, graphics and design projects.
