Hardcastle Restaurants plans for 400 McDonald’s outlets by 2022

Hardcastle Restaurants, the master franchisee for McDonald’s in the Western and Southern states of India, is planning to earn Rs 2,500 cr by 2022 when it will have 400 outlets on an investment of around Rs 500 cr. Westlife Development that owns Hardcastle Restaurants had reported a revenue of Rs 1,401.6 c in FY19. Hardcastle opened the 300th McDonald’s store in India, aiming to add 100 more by 2022. Buoyed by the growth in the coffee segment, Hardcastle is also planning to have McCafe, the McDonald’s coffee brand, in almost every McDonald’s restaurant it operates by 2022. This will be a big business opportunity for the signage companies whose expertise is in in-store branding and graphic projects.
