SGIA will offer 10 post-secondary students the opportunity to attend PRINTING United, which is scheduled from October 23 – 25 in Dallas as guests of the association. This is a chance for students to see the industry in action — the sights, sounds and smells of printing technologies—and to experience for themselves the breadth and depth of their chosen career field as well as other opportunities. The students will spend time on the show floor with members of the Academy of Screen and Digital Printing Technologies and attend educational sessions.
The Student Ambassador programme of SGIA is open to students who are over 18 and carry a 3.0 GPA (on a four-point scale) at a post-secondary SGIA Educational Institution member school. To be considered, students must complete an application and submit a cover letter explaining their goals for attending the show, a letter of recommendation from a professor or advisor, and a copy of their transcript.
