Tea retail chain Chai Point plans to add 30 new stores to its 100-store footprint in major cities including Bengaluru, Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Pune and Hyderabad at a total investment of Rs 12 crore this fiscal. The company’s revenue grew 60 percent year-on-year in FY2018, reaching close to Rs 100 crore. The company has launched its 100th store in Bengaluru. Under the new expansion plan, Chai Point will unveil 30 new stores this fiscal at an investment of Rs 40 lakh per store and strengthen its presence in the major cities where they are currently present. The company’s plan for store network is an added business opportunity for the signage companies whose activities involve in on-store branding and graphics projects.
