Chinese handset maker Xiaomi has recently announced its plan to set up 100 Mi Home outlets in India in two years.The company had recently launched its first store in Bengaluru and plans to open its exclusive outlets in Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad and Chennai. Mi Home is an extension of the company’s e-commerce business, which was launched first in Bengaluru and on its first day itself. Xiaomi is trying to bring online efficiency into offline, expecting in the next few years a rise of 50 percent sales from offline. This is an added business opportunity for the signage companies whose activities involve in in-store display graphics and branding.
