Based on their unique Archer Technology, SPGPrints is introducing new digital printers for the interior decor and wall-covering markets. The systems will be unveiled at Heimtextil 2017, to be organised from 10 – 13 January at Messe Frankfurt, Frankfurt-am-Main, Germany. The two new wide-format JAVELIN digital inkjet printers from SPGPrints are designed for decorative textile products including bed linens, curtains and upholstery. At the heart of the new JAVELIN and PIKE printers is SPGPrints’ established Archer Technology that accurately fires variable drop sizes to create sharp detail, fine lines, solid blotches and smooth gradations on a wide range of substrates.
Making its global debut at the show, the new wide-format JAVELIN digital inkjet printer has a 3,200 mm width capability to enable the printing of deco textiles of all kinds, which include curtains and hangings. JAVELIN prints up to six colours at 550 sq m/hour. It features a robust build and offers ease of use and maintenance. Above all, SPGPrints has successfully adapted its Archer Technology for wall-covering printing applications, and is working to develop a printing line for this application.
