Tata Group’s Infiniti Retail, which operates consumer electronics store chain under the Croma brand, would open 50 more stores in five years, taking its total count to 140. According to a source from the company, they will focus on its existing markets to open stores and would consider to foray into tier II & III cities once the GST is rolled out. The company is expanding in the cities in which they are operating. In Delhi, Croma has added three stores early this year. Currently, Croma has around 90 operational stores in top seven cities excluding Kolkata and few smaller cities in Gujarat and Maharashtra. Opening of new Croma stores will unquestionably bring a new business to signage companies whose jobs revolve around in-shop displays.
