Wide-format printing material major Mohawk has announced the expansion of its inkjet printing media line with the introduction of six new products. Of the new products introduced, three economy lightblock products, one Dupont Tyvek product, and two magnetic products are included. The new Mohawk products are optimised for solvent/eco-solvent, latex and UV-cured inks, are compatible across multiple ink types, and are designed to support a wide variety of printing applications. The new items are: 1) Wide-Format Inkjet Textured Lightblock Economy Film (economy lightblock film for eco-solvent, latex and UV-cured inkjet print applications and is available in 9,12.2 and 19.5 mil); 2) Wide-Format Inkjet Dupont Tyvek 11 mil (for solvent, eco-solvent, latex and UV-cured print applications; available in 11 mil, lightweight); and 3) Wide-Format Inkjet Magnetic Indoor Strength (a flexible magnetic product coated with a revolutionary printable surface optimised for solvent, eco-solvent, latex and UV-cured print applications).
