With the premium and luxury biking segment steering on the growth path, Swiss bicycle maker Scott SA is pushing the pedal in the Indian market. Besides setting up technology centres, the company is evaluating the possibility of putting an assembly line in India. Scott Sports India said it will set up at least five technology centres for cyclist and cycling enthusiasts over the next 12 months. The company said it has so far invested about $2 million in its Indian expansion and now looking ahead to adding biking gears and accessories in India. Signage companies whose expertise is in branding, fabrication and graphic designs in stores and outlets may get a fresh business opportunity in the India expansion move of Scott SA.
