Nissan India to ramp dealerships to around 240 by March 2017 from 200

Japanese car maker Nissan India will boost its dealerships to around 240 by March next year from 200 it already has, as part of its three-pronged strategy of more products, more customers and more customer touch-points. The company announces that they will have 240 dealerships by the end of the current fiscal year and 300 by March 2017. The company has launched 19 dealerships this year so far with the latest being in Mumbai the other day. Nissan is present across 124 cities with 200 dealerships since it entered the country five years ago. Such rapid dealership expansion of the company will be big fat business opportunity for the signage companies whose activities revolve around in-shop designs, displays, graphics and related tasks, which keep popping up in the sector.
