Burger chain Carl’s Jr opens its first store in India

American burger chain Carl’s Jr has opened its first store in India recently in New Delhi, with plans to have five operational outlets by the end of this financial year in the Delhi-NCR region. Cybiz Bright Star Restaurants, which is the Indian master franchisee of the burger chain, announced it could look at bringing in a strategic investor in due course of time. The company announced it has long-term plans of opening 100 stores in the next seven to 10 years.  Signage players, now roll up sleeves as such arrival of high-end outlets would surely bring a fresh business opportunity of in-shop branding, displays, designs and related activities.
