At the recent HP Digital Print Excellence Awards 2015, 11 big companies from India bagged the prestigious printing awards in recognition of their excellence in printing under different categories, including signs and displays. Macromedia Digital Imaging is one in the league of winners with its outstanding works of outdoor advertising, retail POP/POS as well as books, manuals and calendar were recognised with prestigious HP award. This year, more than 380 entries from 16 countries represented the eight HP Digital Print Excellence Awards for HP Indigo and sixth for HP Sign and Display. Winners in the other (non-signage) categories included Aakruti DigiPress (marketing collateral); Chanakya Mudrak ( restaurant menu and special recognition for books for manuals); Gee7 Printek (photo book – premium award); Impressions (decoration); Klick (photo book – consumer category); PM Digital (photo book); Printonica (collateral); Savithri Digital Print Press (use of media in photo book); and Thomson Press (with special recognition for its entry in photo book) and Canvera Digital Technologies.
