Mimaki has been recognised with a European Digital Press Association (EDP) Award for ‘Best Print and Cut Solution’. The award conferred on the company’s CJV150 Series on the sidelines of the FESPA 2015 at Cologne. The printer brings simultaneous print/cut operations to an affordable entry-level printer at a print speed of up to 56.2 square meters per hour. The award was accepted by Mike Horsten, General Manager Marketing of Mimaki EMEA, at an awards ceremony held during the show.
Mimaki CJV150 Series was unveiled in the autumn of 2014. Its newly-developed staggered printhead delivers a wider print swath and ink drops ranging from 4 pl to 35 pl for beautiful, high-resolution printing. Continuous register mark detection enables the continuous cutting of an entire roll of media while simultaneously taking up unrolled media. Zero margin register marks reduce media consumption by eliminating the margins between register marks, for less waste of often costly media.
