Introduction of two new UV printers from Monotech has paved a new pathway to fresh UV opportunities for sign shops and allied players. Pixeljet 1212 UV flatbed and Pixeljet UV LED 4275 are two newly unpacked printers designed for both industrial and short-run printers. In an exclusive interaction with Sign & Graphics, Sushil Kumar Jaiswal, manager-business development, Monotech Systems Limited explains, “Pixeljet UV 1212 is very specifically designed for industrial applications whereas Pixeljet UV LED 4275 is for short-run prints like gift items, novelties, etc.” Both the UV printers were introduced during the recent PrintPack India 2015 in Greater Noida.
With the introduction of the two printers, Monotech is now targeting the domains of interior decoration, tiles, glass, MDF, SS and mid-signage segment. “Flexibility in printing on any rigid substrates, up to 10 mm thickness, is the special feature of these printers equipped with ‘white ink’ technology,” asserts Sushil. Pixeljet 1212 UV flatbed and Pixeljet UV LED 4275 are affordable and premium in the class to offer best quality outputs. Pixeljet 1212 UV flatbed runs at the speed of 100 sq ft/per hour and its running cost is less than Rs 8 per sq/ft. Sushil mentions that signage players using this printer can cover the sectors including interior decoration, direct printing on acrylic in a very cost-effective manner.
