Colorjet has launched its latest printer models, Softjet Grand and Vastrajet, at the ongoing 18th edition of Sign & Graphic Imaging (SGI) Dubai at Sheikh Saeed Halls 1, 2, 3 & Arena of the Dubai World Trade Centre, UAE. The launch of ‘Softjet Grand’ and ‘Vastrajet’ printers at the anticipated event of the year in the MEASA region signals the start of the company’s move to distribute its products across the GCC and Eastern Europe region with the strategic aim of consolidating its customer base and strengthening its partner networks to promote its diverse product portfolio. The company currently operates across three key regions, which are composed of India, China and Dubai. Looking to improve its market presence in the region, the company has expressed confidence in achieving 20 percent growth in the coming year.
Colorjet products are aligned towards two key segments—signage products and textile products. With this in mind, the company is releasing the ‘Softjet Grand” model to a target audience in the Soft signage segment, particularly to producers of Soft signage’s like flags and banners which are directly printed on polyester based recyclable fabrics. The new unit uses environmentally friendly ink that is aqueous based. Meanwhile, the ‘Vastrajet’ is being promoted across the digital textile printing segment as the new unit can be used both for sampling and mass production of digital printed textile orders. Looking to play a key role in the country’s water conservation efforts, the ‘Vastrajet’ printer has been designed in such a way that it doesn’t use water like traditional machines. “Consumers have now become more aware of the effects that everyday chemicals have on the environment and their own health. This new found consumer wisdom has led to the demand of more sustainable and eco-friendly solutions,” said Pavan Gupta, Director, Colorjet.
