Barbieri and Bodoni join hands to boost colour control fast and easy

PSPs are increasingly required by their customers to match specific colour standards and improve print quality which can get through combination of Barbieri’s SpectroPad and Bodoni’s pressSIGN software makes consistently accurate colour control fast and easy. The two companies have recently joined hands and they simply measure a set of target patches with the SpectroPad, and pressSIGN that will show the user how to adjust the tonal curve and, if able, the density of the ink.

The launch of pressSIGN 5.3 on November 01, 2013 features the addition of Barbieri’s SpectroPad to the list of supported spectrophotometers in pressSIGN. The combination of Barbieri’s SpectroPad and pressSIGN software offers users the ability to measure in M1, M0 and M2 and quickly and easily match whatever print standard required. The SpectroPad and pressSIGN combination provides two options for adjusting the tonal curve. Users can choose a TVI target if they want to match an ISO standard like 12647-2 or they can select 4CX technology for accurate grey balance.
