Dramatic growth in India’s organized retail sector has fuelled a new signage segment that demands high quality substrates. Recognising this high growth potential, 3A Composites devoted two years in market research, focus groups and BETA trials across India. This research culminated in a request for a new generation of premium foamboard products outside of what 3A Composites currently offers. Innovative PVC and paper faced printable foamboards were created to meet India’s unique market needs.
These new 3A Composites products are trademarked as FOME-Plast and FOME-Line, which are five mm expanded PS (polystyrene) sheets laminated with liners of 60-120 micron of rigid PVC or 200 gsm paper liners that will be offered in widths from 1M -1.22M and lengths up to 2.44M. The company established a new manufacturing plant, 3A Composites India Pvt Ltd, covering an area of 4,000 sq m near Mumbai to produce these premium products. These display boards have diverse graphic applications for in-store promotions.
